Results-Based Pricing

We’ve been doing this work for a while, and have realized several things:

Not all budgets are created equal, and that we never want money to stand in the way of helping a client, especially with our goal of large-scale impact.
The “this is what it costs…but this is what we can pay” game, and subsequent dance that happens, isn’t efficient.
A lot of our success is achieved in iterations, so while there may be an initial cost, there’s sometimes a chance that it will repeat.
There have been times when the level of transformation we achieved didn’t match the agreed-upon cost.

Some clarifications:

The Polaris Engagement and Nova Discovery (defining your North Stars and choosing new technology) are often not iterative. Nor is a final, results-based payment required or in many cases expected.
Iterations and results-based payments are most common during our Stellar and Orbit (project execution and optimization) offerings.
